Prayers for a friend
Today I just want to ask for prayers for a friend. Last night her house caught on fire, and she lost her only two children. Two adorable little boys ages 4 and 6. Her husband is in the hospital being treated for burns as well.
I cannot even begin to imagine the pain she must be feeling. I pray that the Lord surrounds her with comfort like only He can give. I'm not sure about how much of the house was lost in the fire. But I just know they need to be lifted up. So if you could please help us do that, it would be greatly appreciated.

We got a letter
We got a letter in the mail from our adoption agency today.....saying our social worker quit. It's a small agency and she is one of the only social workers, so it was a little like..WHAT??????
They are training a new one and we are just hoping that this doesn't slow the whole process down. Good news..I made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies today, and they always make me smile. :)
Proverbs 19:21
Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

back to school time, and what's going on with our adoption.
It's that time of year, back to school!
This year we have a Kindergartener!!!
And a second grader!!!
This year we have a Kindergartener!!!
And a second grader!!!
Time sure does fly by!
This is going to be my first year where both are officially being homeschooled. I have always had Rory doing some pre-school work, but this is the first year she will be doing some major schooling! We are super excited. On the downside, we still don't have our new books in the mail. Money has been tight around here, and we are just not ready. Nevertheless we started school back up yesterday. Review time it is!!
Now on to the adoption news.. Still no homestudy completed...
I'm trying to stay positive and remember it's in His timing. It's not the social workers, but us that has us behind. We have not had the money to finish getting everyone's physicals. It's been crazy around here. So please just keep us in prayer.
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1
