Adopt Us Kids

Such a simple ad, such a big message. Have you considered adoption? Or Foster Care? It is possible, you don't have to be perfect.

Please don't forget to pause the music at the top of my page before watching the video.

The Alexander Lamp

I love pinterest. And have been looking at all the beautiful ideas on there. Well I decided I want to start trying to repurpose some things! This weekend we found a few things to work on. One of the was a lamp for Alex. He has been wanting a new lamp for his bedroom, so we decided to do something creative......

This is the ugly lamp for one dollar.....

Step one.. Get rid of the potperri.
Step two.. wash out the cool old jar.
Step three...fill it with your super cool marble collection.

Step four...put on cute new lamp shade.
Step five..new lightbulb.

And voila!! Cute new lamp/marble keeper!!

He loves it and has lots of room for more marbles.  :)

Lifesong India

We invite you to listen in with Bob and Siromani Stoll, Lifesong India, as they share their hearts on "Continuing the Work" in India...

Bob and Siromani praise their "kids" in India...
It is always a rewarding experience to interact with children who are obedient, respectful of authority and wonderfully outgoing. They are studious and have a strong, active faith in prayer.
Lifesong for Orphans is blessed to serve these children and plan to 'continue the work' that has been started so faithfully in India thanks to our many supporters.  We are praying that it will continue to bring glory and honor to our Father God!

To hear more from Bob and Siromani Stoll and their testimony of faithfulness in Indiaclick here

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.

Homestudy Visit #1 check!!!

Visit number one is done!! We did the house walk through. And then she interviewed me and Eric. And talked to the kids a little. Then gave us lots of homework. The kids also had homework do...during their homework I found out that the both have something in common...Leo (our cat) makes them mad. Which cracks me up, because they both love him. :)
