Compassion for the Philippines

I'm sure you have heard about how the strongest storm ever recorded hit the Philippines. Nearly half a million people are now without homes. And 10,000 or more feared dead. This is hard to read about. Hard to see the images going around. Now that I have kids I cannot bear to think about how many of those were children. How many moms saw their child being washed out with the waves? How many fathers found them and clutched them to their chests? When there is such tragedy and sorrow that our minds cannot even comprehend it what do we do? We pray. Will you join us to pray for the Philippines? For those who lost loved ones especially those who are facing the greatest loss, the loss of a child.  And another way you can help is to Support Compassion International. If you Donate to the disaster relief fund you can help provide emergency food and water, temporary shelters, personal items, cooking utensils, trauma counseling and spiritual support and much more. Check out this page for info on how you can help.
